Look Left And Look Right#1

“Look left and look right ” raises question about how the change of social environment affects our daily behavior.I hope this work can connect the audiences and make them reflect on their daily routine.

The development of communication equipments and social media is so fast, like the appearance and update of iPhones, iPads, iWatches, Google, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr. Life seems more interesting than before because of the continually changing appearance of new things. People also seem busier than ever because they need to keep following the latest trends. For example, we receive so many emails everyday. We check our inbox every time when we hear the beep, in case miss something important, no matter where we are or what we’re doing in the moment. Our friends upload hundreds of new photos and articles on Facebook, and we are used to checking them unconsciously. It seems like that it has become a part of our daily life. At the same time, we acquit the latest news at any place at any time. There is no distance between the latest thing and ourselves. We are used to using the scattered time to read the fragments of information and we convince ourselves to get what we want from them. What do we get, finally? How has our life changed with the influence of tons of new things? What is the meaning of the action of looking left and right? It is an interesting behavior, but, what does it mean? Maybe it is a metaphor of the status of our modern life.

The hair is an extension part of our body. When it has been braided, it becomes a weapon creature. When performer looks left and right, it will hit other people as well as themselves. I want to convey a feeling that when people pursue the stuff they are crazy about, they will also be hurt by their own fanaticism.
